Fightworx Instructor Kris Barras wins Title in Thailand

Fightworx Muay Thai instructor Kris Barras, recently fought in Thailand after training at the world famous Sitsongpeenong gym. After several opponent changes, Kris found himself fighting against an experienced Russian fighter for the 75kgs Bangla Stadium title.

After getting dropped by a vicious elbow in round 2, Kris survived the count and was able to land some heavy elbows of his own, cutting his Russian foe above his left eye. For the next two rounds, Barras continued to target the cut and the doctor called a halt to the contest in round 4, declaring Barras the winner and new champion via TKO. Kris left his opponent needing 10 stitches above his eye, although he had to have 3 of his own in his right elbow (the one that caused the cut!)
